Heat Pumps and Underfloor Heating

JK Floorheating’s in-ground underfloor heating (UFH) systems are compatible with various heat sources, including heat pumps. Heat pumps typically generate hot water at approximately 40°C, whereas traditional gas or oil boilers produce water temperatures between 65–85°C. This lower temperature output makes heat pumps particularly suitable for UFH systems, which operate efficiently at reduced water temperatures.

To integrate with low-temperature heat sources like heat pumps, JK Floorheating offers the JK LT (Low-Temperature) manifold. This manifold lacks an internal circulation pump, making it ideal for systems where the water supply is provided by an external pump, often part of renewable energy setups such as ground-source or air-source heat pumps.

The JK LT manifold facilitates seamless integration with heat pumps, ensuring efficient circulation of water through the underfloor heating pipes. This compatibility enhances the overall performance and energy efficiency of the heating system.
